Will Weak Jobs Report Spark a Stock Market Correction?

Friday’s jobs report sent the S&P 500 Index down as much as one percent in early trading before buyers came in and recaptured a majority of those losses.

The report caught many by surprise and the headline numbers were well off trend.

So was this number an outlier? Or representative of a new trend?
