Stocks closed out the first half of 2019 with strong gains, with the S&P 500 Index (INDEXSP: .INX) closing up +17.3%.

But they didn’t come without some stock market volatility.

This leads to a bigger question: Considering the way the first half of 2019 went, are stocks headed for a correction during the second half?

In today’s video we look at comparable periods of history (and similar first half market returns) and what that may mean for stocks going forward.

We also look at key market indicators to assist our research / study.
