Futures Outlook (April 15): Companies Beating Lowered Earnings Expectations

The bulls are holding higher lows as the stock market stays aloft.

Analysts have lowered earnings estimates enough for the companies to meet or beat for the most part, providing a tailwind to the market.

Of the companies reporting so far, I read somewhere that more than 80% of them are beating earnings estimates. If that continues, that would be bullish.

The trading environment remains bullish with pullbacks giving us our best entry points.

We are near a breakout level and holding so far around 2914 on the S&P 500 index e-mini futures.

2906 rounds out the initial lower edge. Best to your trading.
