Investors were greeted with a steep decline in stock market futures not the heels of an escalating war of words between the US and China regarding recent trade discussions.

Perhaps it is just posturing, but it is unsettling considering how long they have been negotiating. The S&P 500 is staring 2900 support in the eye.
